ENJOYING THE WHIMSY & CREATIVITY OF 2nd TIME DESIGNS . . .
As you walk around the Hagen's yard and studio display areas, you'll meet a painted, human-sized praying mantis composed of assorted wires, bent rebar (used for concrete reinforcement), and dozens of other discarded machine pieces.

You'll also find assorted "garden turtles" made of discarded Russian Army helmets; giant flying fish and dragon weather vanes made of hundreds of throw-away mechanical parts and pieces; a pair of happy-faced garbage-pail-lid-sized M&M's welded together with arms and legs made from colorfully-painted disk blades and car exhaust pipes.

At every turn, you'll run into enormous brightly-colored flowers (many turn in the wind pinwheel-style) that look like they came from an animated Disney film.
You'll even see a three-foot high "Sponge Bob" there flanked by highly-finished, decorated and inviting-looking artistically-transformed tractor seats — all measures of the couple's ingenuity and aura of fun that surrounds their work.
2nd TIME DESIGNS RAW MATERIALS . . .
Judy and Lou use discarded Christmas tree stands, worn-out circular saw blades, unused drywall mesh, nails, forks, sprockets, chicken house augur (springs), old serving spoons, spent sparkplugs, plumber gate-valves, drill bits, old and broken spades, hubcaps, shovels, bicycle parts, you name it.
Their eccentric new "Hagen-Hog" motorcycle creation, complete with a high-flying, red-haired female rider (named "Dolly"), uses old smudge-pots for Dolly's chest.

What Would You Do?
Q.
What would you do with a 1964 VW "Bumper Overrider," a rusted old farm-discarded "Wavy Disk" and "Coulter Disk," a spike from a trashed hand tool garden rake, three pieces of rusty old steel sheeting, two beads of welding, a piece of metal pipe and single link from an old chain, a grinder, sand-blaster, welding torch, assorted coatings and paints, auto polish and fishing line?
A.
Why, make a football-sized hanging decorative humming bird for your porch or a strong branch on your backyard tree of course!
